About Brainware University
Brainware University was established in 2016. It is a private state university recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and located in Barasat, Kolkata, West Bengal. It has received approvals from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the Bar Council of India (BCI), the Indian Nursing Council (INC), and the Ministry of Education, GOI. IIRF Ranking 2023 ranked Brainware University as the Top Technical Private University in West Bengal. Brainware University has collaborations with several organisations to boost career opportunities for its students and faculty members. Brainware University has 500+ recruiters pan India. Brainware University admission process differs for each course. While some might need candidates to pass the state-level entrance exams such as WBJEE, other courses' admission is based on performance in the BET exam.
Brainware University courses are offered across various fields, including commerce, engineering, science, pharmacy, and multimedia. The university provides admission in 22 courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Brainware University courses are BTech, BPharm, BCom, BSc, MBA, MTech, LLB etc. All the courses are offered in full-time mode.Candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria for Brainware University admission. For UG courses, they must have passed class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks. For Brainware University admission to PG courses, a graduation degree in a relevant discipline with at least 50% marks is mandatory.
